REMOVABLE PROSTHETIC FILLINGS
With partial denture requiring tooth loses, a frame denture can be used, in some cases. It is a more favorable solution than the stable denture. Its load while chewing is physiologically transferred on other, remaining natural teeth and their areas. The palate is covered with a very thin and light as well as durable metal construction fixed with the same alloy-made clasps. Is a frame denture is to support teeth, more metal elements are required and then it is called a splint denture szynoprotezą.

Stable prostheses (permanent dentures) are used in cases of bezzębia or as partial and temporary complementation used immediately after teeth extraction (the so called instant denture). Instant dentures facilitate healing and support the correct formation of alveolar process. Those partial dentures shall not be used after post-extraction wound healing as they transfer the load on the alveolar process bone in a non-natural, non-physiological way, which increases the rate of its disappearance. Moreover, teeth adjacent to such a denture are gradually losing their "grisp" to the parodontium which is only one step away from their rozchwiania. It happens that the above said reason is responsible for patient's losing their last natural teeth which requires a complete denture to be used. The stable permanent dentures are partly made from acrylic with stabilizing or fixing elements such as metal bendable clamps. A complete denture does not contain any metal structures.

As early as in the 1950s, nylon was used for dentures in the USA. Due to its elasticity, the material can adjust to bone shapes and other anatomical details which cause discomfort while using the acrylate dentures. Apart from the foregoing, it provides an alternative for metal alloy allergic patients as nylon denture constructions do not involve any metal parts. For some groups of patients, nylon prostheses are therefore and ideal solution. The dentures are thin and lights and they cause no allergies. They do not break or split either.
