FUNCTIONALLY STABLE DENTURES
Very damaged teeth are covered (in full) with the prosthetic caps. They complement the dentures which support the progress of the shape and color changes of the re-building tissues. The most durable material durability similar to szkliwa's and of very high esthetics is porcelain. It has also been proved that is color-change resistant and neutral to the oral cavity tissues. Depending on technology, the caps can be plain porcelain or metal-porcelain to match a patient's teeth characteristics best. The metal parts of caps can be made of alloys of silver and palladium, silver and gold, or platinum and gold. The prices of the fillers, therefore, depend on the materials used.

A porcelain most bridge on gold alloy
If one or more teeth are lost, it is necessary to make caps on neighboring teeth to fix the missing ones. Such a prosthetic filling is called a prosthetic bridge. Materials used for the bridges and caps are identical. The cost of a bridge depends on the materials used as much as on the number of teeth to be re-constructed. For instance, two missing teeth require 2 caps plus two artificial teeth, so such a bridge is called a 4-unit one.

A very nice esthetic effect is obtained with porcelain facings (veneers). This is a modern and fast (two visits only) as well as technologically advanced method used to correct the shape and improve the color of natural teeth. Porcelain facing is a "flake" of dental porcelain "glued" (a suitable veneer cementing system) onto the front (face) of tooth after its adequate preparation. Minimum preparation of the tooth - performed with local anesthesia - is required to ensure that the facing shall fit the individual tooth correctly. One of the most important advantage of this king of tooth treatment is saving its hard tissues.

Ca-root insert is a metal or glass-fiber element for prosthetic cap fixing. Its price depends on a kind of tooth and type of material used.
