FISSURE SEALING IN PERMANENT TEETH
This caries prevention method consists in sealing (filling) deep fissures in permanent molar and premolar teeth. The procedure shall follow teeth eruption as soon as possible. 6 months after the service, patient shall visit the dentist for check-up to control and repeat the sealing. Sealing preparations (sealers) contain fluorine which strengthens tooth enamel.
