Filling
We fill teeth to reconstruct the crowns of teeth damaged with caries or, less frequently, by traumas, erosions or pathological attrition. Following the removal of the damaged hard dental tissue and proper shaping of the defect, the filling restores the proper look and function of tooth. Depending on location and type of defect, different materials are used as fillers:
- Composites - used for cosmetic filling in front and back teeth
- Amalgamates - are used rarely nowadays.
